I am headed to Kansas City to participate in a Women's Forum with 25 other professional women photographers from all over the United States. I am excited about meeting and learning from this group of photographers. I am also very honored for Janice Crabtree Photography to be included and to be able to brainstorm and share ideas with these successful photographers. I'll be excited to get back and start using what I learn!
You're a 2010 senior - a SENIOR - finally! Have a great summer with your friends - it'll go fast and before you know it, your senior year will have started. Many seniors aren't sure when you should make your senior picture appointment - especially if you don't have any older brothers or sisters. Lots of seniors in the central Ohio area want fall portraits for the color. If that's you, you need to actually make that appointment well in advance of the fall foliage color - we already have seniors with appointments for next fall! Those are the most popular appointments and go fast! If you're an athlete, you probably should consider having your senior pictures taken in the summer. Its likely you'll have a lot more time on your hands in the summer months than you will once practice and school actually starts! Also, during the summer months, we have more time to play and go on location than we do during those mega busy fall months, you probably have a great tan, it's easier to get a friends picture since they also have more free time, and, did I mention - we have more time to go to fun and different locations! So, you 2010 seniors, it really isn't too early to make your senior portrait appointment - it's going to be your year, your memories!! We'll make sure your senior pictures are the best they can be. Sophia, a graduate of Pickerington High School, was in the studio recently to be photographed for her headshots for the Miss District of Columbia pageant. The pageant will be in July in Washington D.C. The winner of this pageant will go on to compete for the Miss America title. While Sophia is obviously a beautiful woman, she was so down to earth and personable. Good Luck Sophia!
