Christy, a senior at Canal Winchester High School, had her senior pictures taken by us and WOW, what a talented and busy high school senior this girl is!!  She is a runner, plays the guitar and piano, and is very active at school and church!  I'm sure I missed something in there :)  In the picture of her in the black dress with the clouds behind her, she is wearing her mother's dress that her mom bought at a vintage store when she was a young girl - how FUN is that!  Thanks Christy for coming to Janice Crabtree Photography for your senior pictures - you are a beautiful girl - both inside and out!  Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

We are so excited here at Janice Crabtree Photography!  One of our senior pictures made the cover of the 2011 Denny Manufacturing catalog.  Denny's is the largest company of it's kind in the United States and this catalog will be seen by photographers all over the world.  Our senior picture of Kayla, of Watkins Memorial High School in Pataskala, Ohio, was chosen to be on the cover this year.  Denny's does offer some awesome products for me to use in my business and I'm thrilled to have made the cover.  You can see more seniors pictures at Janice Crabtree Photography.  Below is the picture of Kayla that made the cover!  Thanks Kayla and enjoy the rest of your senior year - it was great taking your senior pictures!  Janice Lane

Miss V - how stinkin' cute is she? | columbus photographer

 
 

Miss V had quite a day - she turned 9 months old, took her first steps, and came to the studio for her 9 month old pictures all on the same day!  Yes, this stinkin' cute 9 month old is walking!  We were happy to be able to document such a big day in a little girl's life for her parents!  It brought back such fond memories for me because my daughter, Alaina, also walked when she was 9 months old.

 
 

Perfect Summer Day!

I spent a perfect summer day at Clifton Gorge!  If you've never been, you really need to head over there and enjoy just how beautiful central Ohio can be.  The scenery and trails are perfect - I will be going back.  While you're there, you need to stop at the Clifton Mill and enjoy a glass of raspberry lemonade and chocolate pecan pie - yummmm!

 

Small Spaces, Big Results Senior Picture Workshop | ohio senior photographer

I just finished the first of two senior workshops here at my studio in Canal Winchester, Ohio.  I had a great group of photographers here that made the trek from Arizona, Texas, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, and Ohio.  We had a great time and I even learned a few things from them!  That's always the case when you get a group together like that.  I also had some wonderful 2010 seniors helping me out!!  Thanks Alexis, Amy, and Daniel from Canal Winchester High School.  I really appreciated your willingness to spend some weekend time helping me.
